Memories for your little one..

Memories for your little one..

As a parent myself, I can relate to often seeing time fly past me. One day they are a newborn the next day they are running around being busy toddlers.

I spent so much time making sure I could be the best mum but started realising that as she grew there wasn't many pictures to relive those moments. That made me sad... angry even, especially to those around me. Why didn't anyone capture those moments for me? Just like that I felt motherhood being stripped of me, as in all the time I just put in wasn't appreciated. I can close my eyes and try to relive it, but I haven't got much memory of it either. That moment on, I promised myself to ask for pictures not ask... in fact DEMAND!

Yes, demand from my partner, family members I mean it would be weird to demand from a stranger. Could you imagine that? Yeah…let's not.

I believe in pictures being able to transport us back in time and help us evoke the feelings we felt on that captured moment. A bow might seem like a simple detail but there's more to it. First, we think of our day, we then plan an outfit based on how we are feeling or want to feel and with that we next pick the bow that compliments the look. That is a whole process before picking the bow, once the picture is taken at the destined location a memory is instantly formed. A memory that will be relived in the future.
